These Terms govern access to Balance XO websites, applications, and related services. By creating an account or using Balance XO, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, when applicable, the business you represent.
Business accounts
You must provide accurate information, have authority to act for the business you register, and be legally able to enter an agreement. The business owner controls membership and role assignments and is responsible for activity performed through its workspace.
Trials and subscriptions
New businesses may receive a 14-day trial after providing a valid payment method through Stripe. Nothing is charged at trial signup. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected monthly plan begins automatically and the saved payment method is charged. Plans renew monthly until canceled. Prices, included capacity, and features are displayed before checkout. Stripe securely processes payments and provides the billing portal.
Acceptable use
You may use Balance XO for lawful internal business operations. You may not attempt to access another business workspace, bypass security or subscription limits, disrupt the service, upload malicious material, misuse another person’s identity, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use Balance XO in violation of law.
Your data
You retain ownership of business data you submit. You grant Balance XO the limited right to host, process, transmit, and display that data as necessary to provide and secure the service. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of submitted information and for maintaining appropriate independent records for tax, accounting, employment, and regulatory purposes.
Availability and changes
We work to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may evolve to improve security, usability, or compliance. We will provide reasonable notice when a material change significantly reduces paid functionality.
Third-party services
Balance XO relies on providers including Cloudflare, Clerk, Stripe, and Resend. Their availability and processing are governed by their respective terms. Connections labeled as prepared or requiring authorization are not represented as active integrations until their authorization is completed.
Warranty disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Balance XO is provided “as is” and “as available.” Inventory recommendations, reports, and calculations support business decisions but do not replace physical controls, accounting review, tax advice, or professional judgment.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Balance XO will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, or loss of data. Any aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees paid for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Suspension and termination
Access may be limited or suspended for nonpayment, security risks, unlawful use, or material violation of these Terms. You may cancel through the Stripe billing portal as described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
